Our Translation Services
Having been asked to run a high-level training course in Shanghai, Novartis required all of its course material to be translated from English into Simplified Chinese. Items for translation included presentations, course notes, handouts, exercises and case studies.
The Challenge
Having planned to use a local Chinese translation agency, Novartis found themselves in a difficult situation when, at the last moment, the chosen supplier advised that they would be unable to meet the deadline due to the material’s complex and varied subject matter.
As a result of the large volume of documents, the translation work would normally require three to four weeks to complete. However, with just one week to go until the training course, Bubbles Translation Services was assigned to the job.
The Solution
With offices in China, Bubbles was able to swiftly set up a dedicated team of professional, qualified and experienced translators, all of whom had the relevant expertise to handle the intricate subject matter.
The team of translators and proofreaders worked around the clock to complete the work in just four days. With final sign-off being undertaken by UK-based project workers, the translated material was then sent overnight to China to allow for the time difference between the two countries.

As a result of Bubbles delivering the complex project in a matter of days, and ahead of the deadline, Novartis was able to proceed with the training as planned and still have plenty of time to prepare the material before the start of the first session. If the material had not been translated for the delegates, the training course would have had to be cancelled, costing Novartis a significant sum of money.
