Our Translation Services
Based in the UK, Norbar has facilities on 4 continents and distribute their products worldwide. As such, they need to make sure their technical catalogues, handbooks and user manuals are translated in all languages.
Until Bubbles started working with Norbar in 2005, the translation of their documentation was produced using various resources including local distributors and smaller translation companies leading to brand inconsistency and the passionate and dedicated team being unhappy with their global customer’s experience.
The Solution
Bubbles was able to consolidate all of the translation requirements by establishing teams of translators for each language, ensuring that the same teams are used for all subsequent translations. This ensures consistency of specialist technical terminology to adhere to stylistic and terminological preferences that local Norbar offices have in each country.
As well as improving the quality and consistency of translations, Bubbles was able to introduce major cost savings by utilising computer aided translation (CAT) tools. This system “memorises” all translations so that if the same sentence is ever needed to be translated again in any future manual, Norbar do not need to pay in full for this again.
Another advantage of this is that new manuals and handbooks are translated much quicker as only new items of text need to be translated by the professional translators.
