Website translation into European languages project
NIKKEN approached Bubbles for translating its website contents into several European languages. It expected the highly technical content to be translated by domain experts of the field for high-quality translation output. Bubbles were the perfect partner to satisfy Nikken’s expectation as it had long-term experience in many technical and complex sectors.
The Bubbles approach to delivering high-quality translations
Bubbles’ first established teams of translators for the project, with expertise in the specific, niche mechanical and industrial engineering industry of NIKKEN. These teams were organised for each language that the project involved to ensure that the translators used the exact, market-specific technical terminology that was needed.
Bubbles produced several sample translations in each language using different teams of translators and proofreaders. Producing several versions in each language offered a choice of style and terminology to NIKKEN’s team members and NIKKEN’s team in each country was able to choose the translator that it preferred. These approved translators were then used for all subsequent projects of that country to ensure consistency in terminology and style.

The approved translators communicated directly with NIKKEN’s teams in different countries, leading to faster resolution of queries and greater accuracy. As a result, Bubbles was able to translate the highly complex website contents including technical terminology into the required languages and delivered the complete translation project to NIKKEN’s satisfaction.
